Precautions for color mixing
① Carefully observe the color sample, pay special attention to the observation of the printed substrate, select the ink from the roughness and smooth reflection degree of the substrate. For example, the ink is printed on a smooth and highly reflective aluminum plate or cans, and the choice of high transparency ink will help greatly enhance the metallic luster of the ink;
When choosing the ink required for color mixing, avoid mixing too much ink as much as possible. Try to use inks that are close to standard colors and made of a single pigment. The use of color foam is too much, the farther away from the standard color, the worse the brightness. The more matte the mixed color, it is impossible to borrow color to modulate the primary color. Therefore, when mixing color, you can use two kinds of mixing, not three kinds, the less the better.
③ Pay special attention to ink coloring power. If the selected ink concentration is not high enough, no matter how to adjust, it can not reach the standard color concentration.
When it is necessary to add white and black ink, special attention should be paid to the added weight and the accuracy of the weighing. In all ink types, white ink has a strong hiding power. Adding too much will not only dilute the color, but also prevent the substrate from reflecting light. However, for printing uneven substrates such as nylon cloth and cardboard, in order to ensure the appearance of the printed product, it is best to print a layer of white as the background color. Due to the strong coloring force of black ink, a little accidentally added too much will need to add quite a lot of other color inks to adjust the color waste, so special attention is needed.
⑤ When making light-colored ink, it should be judged by the degree of light transmission of the ink film, and how much white ink or toning ink (diluent) should be added. The use of solvents (thinners) for light colors is never allowed. Adding too much solvent will not only affect the printing performance, but also destroy the ink structure, resulting in the separation of pigment and resin oil. Precipitation or greatly reduce the gloss and brightness of the ink.
